Lessons are 30 min blocks, once a week  but longer one’s can be arranged. Please bring your own guitar, ukelele, mandolin, or violin but other instruments and amps are provided. We have 5 lesson rooms with various equipment in each. Each teacher has slightly different policies and payment options but charge $25 per lesson with…

Drum Instruction:

Dove is a Musician, Composer, Teacher and Studio Producer and Engineer who has worked professionally for over 30 years in LA, Las Vegas and San Diego. Dove has played drums in numerous shows and bands in all kinds of venues…Casinos, Clubs, Concerts etc. After years of teaching and writing out exercises and song grooves for his students, Dove wrote a series of graduated drums instruction books called Independence for the Modern Drummer. From absolute beginner to the advanced player, this series builds independence skills while the student is playing actual song groove patterns.
He teaches at the drum kit with the emphasis that playing music suppose to be fun!

Song Writer Coaching and Development:

Dove’s writer/producer credits include music placements in Miss Congeniality, The Ellen
Degenerous Show, Trick My Truck, Malcolm in the Middle, Gossip Girls, NFL Football and more. Local commercials to this credit include Mossy Nissan, Mossy Ford, Kearny
Mesa Infinity, and Coles Fine Flooring. Dove has co-written songs with many aspiring artists and he enjoys coaching and helping to develop the talent of young writers.

Beginner to Intermediate Piano and Guitar:

Dove has also played piano professionally in San Diego at The Gulf Coast Grille,
Red Tracton’s, and Scalini’s. He plays guitar primarily on studio tracks both acoustic and electric. Dove is patient, encouraging, and makes playing the guitar and piano have
meaning by teaching students many of the songs they want to play.


Andrew Stubbs

Andrew Stubbs has played the violin for 35 years. Schooled at Cal State Northridge and San Diego State, he attended the prestigious Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute in the summersof 1989, 1990. Mr Stubbs plays violin, viola, and cello at a professional level. Extensive professional performance has included concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, Copley Symphony Hall, and the East County Performing Arts Center. One of his most recent posts was principal cellist of the Palomar Symphony Orchestra.

Sharon Whyte

With a background starting in classical piano, her playing styles encompass all music genres., as well as touring with original
groups and playing corporate events throughout the US, UK and Canada.

Her studio credits include numerous CDs, movies, commercials, and
compositions for music libraries. She was most recently featured on the
“Gypsy Swing Allstars” CD, featuring John Jorgenson. She also charted,
transcribed and played in “Primal Twang – The History of the Guitar,”
featuring multiple world-class guitar greats, which is available on DVD.
Sharon currently plays with local artists Eve Selis, Tim Flannery and
Danielle Tucker, in addition to being a part of her own projects “Cactus
Twang & Whyte” playing music from Woodstock and Crosby Stills Nash
& Young and “Rodeohead” playing unconventional country music.
Her teaching style involves building a method that is unique for each student
that finds their passion and helps them accomplish their musical goals from
that place. Every individual is unique and Sharon loves finding what
motivates each student and supporting them in developing the skills they
need to express themselves in the way they choose.
